Playing video games is not only a form of entertainment or a way to kill time, it has also become a great way to raise issues and awareness on a certain topic such as how to go green, and even current political issues. In the present times, developers are focusing more on inventing games that offers the later one because apparently, almost every country all over the world is struggling with political systems. It is only necessary to take initiatives that promotes making the political system more organized and less corrupt.

Game developers believe that one way to address this is to develop a game that will inform every player of the current political status or at least how an unorganized government system runs.

The problem in today’s society is that most of us are not fully aware on what is currently happening on our government. We almost all the depend on the media only, which is most of the time bias.

Another reason why politics is being incorporated in playing video games is that, politics is kind of complex to include in secondary curriculum and playing video games is usually every kid’s favorite hobby. Hence, incorporating politics in video games may be a great way for a kid to be aware on what politics is.
